YWCA WNY’s Teen Empowerment & Mentoring (TEAM) Program with two locations: YWCA WNY School House Commons, 1005 Grant Street, Buffalo, and Crucial Human Service Center, 230 Moselle Street, Buffalo, provides after-school programming to Buffalo high school students. Through a uniquely designed project-based, experiential curriculum, supported by guest speakers, campus field trips and community service opportunities, the TEAM Program empowers youth to design program elements that meet their interests and address specific needs, while ensuring a focus on helping students graduate high school, successfully transition to college or vocational training, and realize their full potential.

In addition, through a strong affiliation with Buffalo Employment Training Center’s (BETC) Summer Youth Program, the Teen Empowerment Programs are able to provide participants with a 25 hour a week, 6 week summer job.
