The YWCA of WNY,  Teen Empowerment Programs,  are located at the JFK Community Center, 114 Hickory Street, Buffalo, and Crucial Human Service Center, 230 Moselle St., Buffalo, both programs provide after-school/extended day programming to Buffalo high school students. Through a uniquely designed curriculum supported by guest speakers, campus field trips and community service opportunities, the Teen Empowerment Programs focus on helping students graduate high school, successfully transition to college or vocational training, and realize their full potential.

In addition, through a strong affiliation with Buffalo Employment Training Center’s (BETC) Summer Youth Program, the Teen Empowerment Programs are able to provide participants with a 25 hour a week, 6 week summer job.
