Tickets now available for second annual FOREFRONT art exhibition

YWCA WNY will once again partner with Resource:Art to present an exhibition featuring contemporary and modern works by regional female artists. This, the second annual FOREFRONT Art Exhibition, will take place at the Horizon Gallery inside the studios of WNED|WBFO.

The exhibition will open with a ticketed reception Friday, May 12 from 5:30–7:30 pm and will be on view until June 9. Tickets include fine wine and appetizers and are $35 for individual tickets, or $60 for couples. Each ticket purchase comes with a raffle ticket for a selection of prizes including original art.

Proceeds from all ticket sales and a portion from artwork sold will go to benefit YWCA WNY and their essential programming. YWCA WNY supports over 3,000 women, children and families annually. Our programs help women attain self-sufficiency, help teens build a path to success, help seniors secure safe, affordable housing that keeps them connected to the community, and help children grow in healthy, nurturing environments. We help people help themselves.

FOREFRONT will feature works by both contemporary artists as well as artists working in the 19th and 20th century. The gallery will be filled with original work by Monica Angle, Amanda Besl, Adele Cohen, Virginia Cuthbert, Jackie Felix, Dorothy Fitzgerald, Kathleen Sherin, Claire Shuttleworth, Shasti O’Leary Soudant, and many more notable women artists.
